Engineering Energy Ltd is working closely with T.G.I. Friday’s and has reviewed the portfolio HVAC assets.
We have developed a life cycle plan for the replacement of R22 refrigerant equipment. This plan includes main restaurant package units, comfort cooling equipment and kitchen ventilation units.
Newport Road, Cardiff had four Trane package units serving the restaurant area and a Reznor unit serving the kitchen. Working with Trane we provided and installed 4 new package units for the restaurant and a new package unit for the kitchen area. All the units are networked and connected to the new Trane Tracker 12 controller giving better control on all units plus other plant can be added to this controller.
The removal and installation of all the roof top package units was completed in one day with no disruption to the store. All other works on the new units were completed within three days and the units were then commissioned and handed over to the customer.
